zonkie, Somewhere in the 1990's the wheel got something caught in the spokes. Here on the east coast a number of banks failed. My "former" boss thought the wheel would keep turning and when something got caught in the spokes all his bank loans came due. His businesses which were cash cows slowed to a trickle, he had poor management...(his brother) and he had a class action nuisence suit against him. To settle all this he sold his house. I'm sure he also had a number of small claims courts decisions against him at the time. Don't you think it could be possible that Sylver moved to clear his debts by selling his house? Or other property? Please notice he didn't leave Las Vegas and if you have been there and talked to some of the people who live there it is still very much a small town...in that people know their neighbors and the only way he could have escaped would have been to move out of town.
