IT IS? What about the next 30 days? Just getting my bear costume out for the Hallowe'en spooks. I have come to realize that emotion, investor psychology and fear play a ENORMOUS role in dictating market sentiment and movement. It may not be logical or rational and certainly makes no sense of late--given the healthy fundamentals of the US economy in general and DELL in particular. I'm particularly upset with the FED and AG for the interest rate fiasco and for BAILING OUT LONG TERM CAPITAL. Talk about a double standard,,,when super- wealthy investors lose money, WE have to pay for it. The capitalist system has enabled these investors to become mega-wealthy yet suddenly-- when the ball drops--it's time to invoke some good ole' fashioned socialist "let's get uncle sam and the taxpayers and THE SMALL INVESTORS to bail us out". I don't recall anyone ever bailing me out. It is hypocritical in the extreme and utterly revolting; frankly, I don't know how and why Americans tolerate it. JMO, JUST4THEDELLOF_IT
