Gregory,

There are lots of posts about this on Yahoo. I have copied the one that sums up the facts:

<<It's a really smart deal. The company gives away nothing unless it comes on favorable terms. Much better than the previous deal. They probably learned from their mistakes, plus being in a much stronger bargaining position. The British fund is practically begging to be let in.

I agree with the poster who said the fund tried to get stock on the open market and realized soon enough that there was no way to take down million or more shares of stock below $15. So, they agreed to a deal that is totally REFR controlled.

If the news has reached enough REFR stockholders and shorts, we should get a strong up gap tomorrow. Considering the number of weak hands, half brains, and shorts in the stock, I think management decided to play the outside validation card. They don't have to sell a single share of stock to the Brits, and yet they have sent a message to all REFR participants that someone is willing to pay up to $15 per share. Maybe management reads some of the stupid messages from shorts and unbelievers on this board and decided to kick ass.

What more can any sane investor want? Does somebody have to hit you over the head with a hammer to let you know it's a great stock? >>
