I should preface my remarks by stating that I am not professionally trained in the fields of geology and/or metallurgy. My background is in the investment field and I am a partner in a merchant bank/corporate advisory company. Most of what I know about mining has been obtained through osmosis and I would consider myself to be a generalist. I think I do know people though and I was impressed with the integrity of the people involved. In our business many a meeting in our office has ended on one visit after meeting face to face with people that are looking to raise capital. The Newmont technology you are talking about is probably bio-heap leaching of sulphide materials. For more info on bacterial leaching look up a company called Bactech (CDN:BACO) which is Australian but trades in Canada. Ross
