What?? Intel is gonna make the Alpha??? How'd the hell this come about? I thought that Intel doesn't much like the Alpha, so what's their incentive to do any yield and process improvement. Last I heard the Alpha uses cobalt salicide. Has Intel ever used this in production before or are they getting a proven process for free? Alpha is gonna die if Compaq doesn't second source the foundry. MikeyB
