Having multiple wives has been authorized in the Bible in many places. Muslims don't consider coverings "hiding." You don't have to go far back in history to see covering in Christianity. <<not hiding from the world but facing it and having the inner strength to resist it>> This is what Muslims believe they are not allowed to practice Monasticism for this reason.
