It is my understanding, after speaking with LaPointe, the laserbrush is actually intended for maintenence after bleaching has been done by the dentist. After the dentist bleaches teeth , there will normally be some relapse. This will prewvet that from ocurring, and keep the patient from feeling that he needs to bleach the teeth again.
It is my understanding it will also help people who haven't gone thru professional bleaching, but not as much. Also it will take longer to see the results.
That being said, did you read the Aug SEC filing. It stated that they will need more $$ to get the medical and dental lasers going by 1999. That is contrary to everything else that I have heard. It would seem that an fda approval is imminent.
