If you're trying to get me to talk you into a long position, forget it. Everybody knows YHOO and AOL dominate the portal world, so I'm not going to argue that. Anybody can point to them and say, "that's a winner", but you won't make much money following the crowd. You had to do that 2 years ago. I thought AOL's model would fail, and it still could. AMZN is different, and I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. Their business model sucks IMO.
NSCP is a portal and YHOO is a portal, so why can't you compare the two? Admittedly, YHOO has more traffic than all of the lesser portals combined. The question is, who is going to survive for the long term, and among those, where can I find value? I think NSCP fits that description. I wish I had some inside information on potential partnerships, but I don't. NSCP has yet to partner with a media giant, but once it does, you will have missed the boat on the long side. Just my opinion, but once NSCP puts the whole MSFT B.S. behind it and emerges as a viable portal, it will sport a much higher valuation than it does today. |
