Bilow -- and others who responded. My question still remains, I guess. It seems something dramatic must have happened 20-25 years ago in Arkansas to motivate Scaife and others to generate so much hatred against Clinton. Maybe there is no simple "smoking gun" or magic button cause and effect. There are liberals and conservatives, politicians of all affiliations have been found in all kinds of compromising situations. But for Scaife and others to spend millions for years to "get" Clinton seems to rise above simple political partisanship. But, maybe they saw Clinton as a symptom of changing times that they wanted to expunge from American culture if possible. Clinton has created a compelling and disturbing period of time, that's for sure.
