Dear DCHTers;
This is my Thursday report. After the company tour, I reviewed our conversation with David, and he approved following remarks for posting. I met some of the employees including Dr. Firestone. During my company tour, Mr. David A. Walker (Vice President, Business Operation) and Mr. Michel E. Rainville (Sales Manager) guided me through their offices and facilities. They showed very sincere and conservative (rather say truthful, I guess) explanation to my question. I will try to elaborate most of my questions one by one. It is my wishes all DCHTers have some advantage from this information. J
1. How their sales are progressing and if their backlog is growing. Because of some modification of hydrogen sensor, which will be completed within two weeks, yes, their backlog is growing. They currently have 28 contracts. (Approximately 0.7 million dollars.) Some of the orders are trial purpose, which means their order will be increased in a great deal after this trial stage. (If it works well, of course.) 2. Will the company have a revised forecast for financials on their upcoming Form 10 filing which will show projections of revenue for the next 3 years? David does not have any idea about this Form 10 because a lawyer was preparing it. But his rough guesstimation is $1.1 M on 98, $3.5M on 99, $6.9M on 2000. In his opinion, DCHT is for long-term investor. 3. Can we get a better website webmaster (i.e. enotsder)? Well, personally I do not think it is important. However David wants to know any good expert on this case. Any of you can send him an email if you have anybody in your mind. 4. Does the company have enough people and/or production line capabilities/space to ramp up production of the sensors should they get a large order? They have enough capabilities/space but short of people. 5. With the introduction of the Universal Gas Sensor, will they be teaming up with a more established firm(s) such as Rosemont-Fischer or Rockwell to penetrate the oil & gas industry? As well as Fuel Cell, the Universal Gas Sensor is on the developing stage. It will be materialized on 99, they guess. 6. Can we get an update on the Westinghouse Nuclear Safety program along with DCHT's involvement? According to David and Michel, the Westinghouse people were at DCHT this morning. They were very happy. The shipping to the Westinghouse will be commenced on November. 7. Will we be hearing more PR from the company regarding the upcoming shuttle launch? / Military application? They can not do any PR to the shuttle launch because a middle company is doing the deal and DCHT are not supposed to say anything about it? Originally Hydrogen sensor was developed for the military purpose. Naturally there are some military application. 8. Why there has been very little news coverage since June and a lot of insider selling which made many investors deplorable to this stock? DCHT IR instructed no PR unless the contract amount is significant. For the insider selling, the given insiders' names were not correct. (e.g. Dr. Firestone sold 60K, not 120K, and SOCOLOSKE SAUL retired around June, etc.) David said he did not sell any shares even though he did not get any salary from DCHT up to this moment.
9. Current financial status. How long the DCHT can survive without any revenue? David said DCHT has no problem for next 18 months.
10. Any News? Maybe some on October, but not sure.
Basically, DCHT is a small company. But they have the technology and many devoted people. No salary means a machination to be a parvenu, I guess. (Joke J) I saw some interesting things, too. Wall-mount, ceiling-mount, and hand-held hydrogen sensors. A program which can log the data and generate a graph, etc. IMHO, DCHT will be very profitable within next 3 to 5 years, as David mentioned.
Well, Good Luck! DCHTers. |
