David, the Chinese or any other Govt. will not have more difficulty eavesdropping on the landlines between fixed stations than they do now. I think CDMA is only being used for the wireless part of the system, but perhaps someone can correct me? The problem that I see for CDMA in such markets is that capacity is not likely to be an issue there, so one great superiority does not amount to much. CDMA will have to compete on other issues in those markets.
