carl, i understand now that you understand depreciation. perhaps we can go back to the original post that doesn't make sense - even in light of your recent explanations.

you take $600m+250m+100m-200m=750m. the $600m is depreciation. you treat it as though it is $600m cash in the bank. how come? tia...
