Robert, the latest news says it all ... "CYRIX Calls In Favor From IBM And Creates MULTI-TERAFLOP System. Cyrix Corp. (CYRX) recently created the world's largest and hottest PC by assembling no fewer than 100,000, .6u P166+ CPUs into a single mass. Cyrix's ex-President said, "I was up to my ears in ceramic chips and I thought it best to use them all up before I resigned'. The result -- a 100 ft. high PC which requires nearly the entire output of the nearest nuclear power plant. Famed for beating Intel at every turn, Cyrix created the world's first "monster PC" to defeat efforts by Intel to claim a first victory as a tera-processor. "Sure, we have 'flopped' uncounted times but now we can "multi-tera-flop" ahead of Intel". Cyrix stock closes up 100 points on the day.
