If you go back to the news reports when Starr was first selected, you will find that even the Democrats were hailing him as fair minded and a good choice. Even the White House was satisfied with the selection. It was only when things went sour that the mud started to fly.

That is not to say that Starr didn't let it become personal at some point, but you are starting to make the X-Files look realistic when you start this kind of conspiracy theory talk.
