Chat: Airline Stocks - Susie, you know i don't mess around with TWA, but i have invested in both ALK (Alaska Air) and LUV (Southwest Air). I have also been following U (USAIR Group). Believe me, I know what the transportation average looks like over the past few months UGLY !! but I really think that LUV and ALK in particular are great investment and/or trading stocks at these prices. I know recession is the new concern, and airlines, with fixed costs, are very susceptible to business slowdowns, but with low fuel costs, and the extreme hits that these stocks have taken, i think that most of the potential bad news is in the price of the stocks already. larrry
