lets take this one more step: lets say the MM is keeping all eyes off a stock (one that just happens to be in the group of the hottest takeover targets by LU) by dumping small shares to off set the big blocks that are coming in so the price doesn't go up, just until they gather up all the shares at the low price.......makes you want to go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm think about it! btw- i've been watching this stock tick by tick for the last three days and some very strange things have been going on.....heavy buying in the last 1/2 hour of trading in the first two days and big blocks yesterday and today....all upticks
