You are not buying the book for less than cost. You are buying it for less than it costs AMZn to get you to buy it and they pay more than the average bookstore for their books.

I do want to see the "thing" go broke. A business model without a real presence will not work. I am bothered by the amount of millionairs that AMZN has made of the insiders without them ever making a return on invested capital. I admit to being jealous but also to believe strongly that this is wrong.
