Fall internet WORLD '98...5-9 Oct..SoftQuad cancels? SoftQuad, Alpha, StumpWorld [ONLINE Merchant] not there? Interleaf, ICOMS, Open Market, Allaire, NetObjects... there. source: &copy 1998 events.internet.com if SoftQuad canceled...the rest of SoftQuad Inc [HoTMetal Pro 5.0, XMetaL, HMAPPS...] simply/logically must already sold/accounted for?...or we are simply dealing with pure garbage...internet WORLD...another superior venue to position a takeover/bidding war...esp in re: sq.com through [announced] private suite ongoing negotiations [all potential acquirors will be there]...strategically placed/timed/worded pre and daily tradeshow press releases (which also allude to said takeover negotiations)...SoftQuad not there? while Allaire, NetObjects are and will be strategizing their IPOs?...Fall IW also a superior venue to spark a bidding war and esp if a deal is already negotiated and on the heels of HoTMetaL Pro 5.0...EVERYONE'S THERE (press, media, the street, the acquirors...]...and perception simply will become reality...
