Their sure was allot of retractions but at the same time the stock showed some heavy buying today..........................

For myself this looked like a release to satisfy the SEC. We are all aware of what is taking place with mining stocks the SEC is scrutinizing them very closely thus the halt on MINE. Even though IKAR has a Russian report apparently this information is not satisfactory since I am sure the people who were involved in the report are not available to back up the claims and I am sure their are other factors as well. If the SEC was not happy with the press releases than IKAR did the right thing by making the clarification. Rather than me continuing on with this by making assumptions I will try to contact IKAR and share what I know. The bottom of the press release does state the following;

The conclusions of the Kilborn Report were encouraging in that Kilborn did not identify any basis to suspect that the existing Soviet and Tajikistani data (showing significant tungsten mineralization) was inaccurate.

The Company is planning to follow the recommendations of the Kilborn Report by continuing its exploration activity to increase its confidence level of estimated grades of the Ikar deposit. Particulars of the exploration program to be conducted will be reported in a separate press release.

In my conversation with Ikar today the summer program is continuing and everything is moving along as planed.
