Are you sure what they are talking about is a software only solution? I thought the VCC was primarily a hardware system with several very distinct advantages and which competes with various software only and hardware products. IF GLBM is now selling a software product performing this function, what is the product name? Was this just developed recently? My reading of the announcement indicates he is taking about selling the VCC product: ''DEC has invited Global MAINTECH to this prestigious event because our Virtual Command Center (VCC) technology provides a Y2K compliant alternative to Polycenter Console Manager, an important piece of systems management software which will not be supported after December, 1998. Our VCC provides a solution to ensure that the large installed base of users who are reliant on this software can continue to monitor their mission critical systems,'' Can you explain how this works a little more?
