any thoughts on APM/competition? i think the APM will be less of a threat than TDK and Alps Could depend on WDC's status, et al, you got that right; a March '99 profit is dependant on a recovery in the HDD industry. Also RDRT needs to sell WDC GMR heads for non-IBM designed drives. GMR sales to Maxtor and Samsung will also help in '99. RDRT doing business with SEG? awhile back Stitch mentioned that qualification at SEG and Fujitsu at around the 4.0GB level was expected in December of '98. i think that they are currently doing some business with SEG
