What a dismal week! Out of 44 picks only 6 had gains. (5 longs and 1 short) I hope the meetings in Washington this weekend will restore sanity to the Market. I also hope Greenspan will stop painting a bleak picture just to have a chance to have a shot of getting part of the 70B surplus turned over to the IMF. Rubin paints a better picture but he has no direct way to affect things. A tax cut would also help. The congress should stop reading dirty sex stories and pass a budget. The House should get out of the publishing business. Hell- I'm going to go up to the Wine country and Invest in some good wine. If it doesn't make me money I can always drink it. Does any one own pumpkin futures? It's going to be scary from now until Halloween. Please pardon the random ramblings. Cheers.. Chris.
