I sort of agree with the theme of what you are saying here Markus my man, that is why I choose to look at the history and coming of the Lord in the Old Testament, and the HIGHER CALLING of the new.

By higher calling, examples: Jesus says this:

(Mat 5:21-24) "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

And here is another one:Paul writes:

Ephesians 6:5-8 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.

I might add here that as Paul is writing to the church, he is not ordering slavery, but the reality was that there was slavery and servitude, so he qualified WHAT type of slave a Christian should be. ( Actually I think we are all slaved to something)
