Why would I disappear from this thread if an announcement is made? If some miracle happens and the deal is announced this year, I'll admit to being wrong and stick around and take the "I told you so's" from everyone. I'm sure many here won't hesitate to rub my nose in it.
Of course I firmly believe that I'll be proven correct.

I suspect there have been quite a few SI posters who've run with their tails between their legs after such an incident. I also suspect that in many cases they were con artists shilling for some other group.

That isn't me. Nor was it my intention to 'talk' this stock down in price. I just don't have that much pull. To think otherwise is ridiculous.

Several times in private messages I've been asked (told actually) to leave this stock alone. This made me even more suspicous about the intentions of quite a few folks on this thread.

Now that the stock has dipped below $1, the volume has dropped because the convertible action isn't occurring. Without the vol, we aren't going to see any price momentum here. Any announcement of a deal during this quarter will most likely be drowned out by the very scarey nature of these markets.

I expect RNTK to announce shortly that the prospects of a deal are still looking very positive. Nothing more.

I'd also be checking on the car our man YAK is driving. Trading his E class Mercedes for the S class would be a very good sign.
