Maxwell,

Re: "Please indulge us with Intel 0.18um process while we are awaiting for
AMD Q3 earnings."

You mean "losses", right Maxwell ... I will give you some details:

** Printed poly linewidth - .14um, poly space - .24um
** Operating Voltage - 1.3V
** FET drive currents - NFET ~620ua/um, PFET ~ 310ua/um
** # Metal layers - 6
** Expected speed - Desktop CPU's starting at 600mhz going to 900mhz, laptops
starting at 400mhz going to 600mhz.

And guess what Maxwell ... This will be in volume production late in Q2 '99.
I bet this will appear in one of your "nightmares" soon. <ggg>

How does this compare to AMD's (or should I say Motorolo's) .18um process ??

Make It So,
Yousef
