Dave, Do you think MAs should be 'simple' or 'exponential' or some other?

My limited experience leans toward using 'simple' because it is probably more intuitive, and if one better understands what's going on with those MAs, one ought to be making wiser decisions based on them. But I may be overlooking something important here.

What's your opinion?
