Don't forget that the 20,000 EV's needed to bring down the
cost to the level of ICE's, would have to be increased
significantly for hybrids, since they use fewer batteries.
I would think at least 50,000 hybrids would do it, & in the
auto industry, that is a very small number. Do you have any
information re. the Kettering plant: square footage,
current production capability, future production capability,
GM's intentions re EVs & hybrids, etc.
