The analyst run up and down pushing brokers to invest their clients in "foreign" investments and now it's all collapsing because no one was watching how the economy these companies reside in were being managed! WS got the big-money clients out ahead of the blood bath and the individual investor is probably still in! I buy MADE IN THE USA if I possibly can! And you're right! The great US of A does consume 90% of our GDP!!! Anyone looked at the trade deficit lately?
