I spoke with Jim Crehan this afternoon. He was on the road headed back to the trade show in Las Vegas. He told me that not only has interest in the CAPSCAN for USTs been running extremely high but he is seeing great interest in the upcoming product for the home heating oil market. There are 4 million home heating oil tanks in the New England area alone. EVDS will be able to manufacture a device that will monitor these tanks for around $25. They will sell for an average price of $79. EVDS will be making direct sales of this product but they will also be sold at Sears, K-Mart and WALMART stores.
