Anyone know what Amazon's P/E is? Don't worry about it being a negative number- I just want to know the figure..

BTW, Yahoo is trading at a reasonable P/E don't you think? It's only 835:1 !! Wouldn't ya know it, it has the highest P/E of any Nasdaq or NYSE stock. Yes William, I admit, there is NO DOWNSIDE RISK AT ALL in Yahoo or Amazon. I mean, only 835:1 P/E? That's chump change! Lets go for the entire domestic gross product! The thing that worries me about you William is not that you're long on these stocks, but that you attempt to rationalize the stock price with the business itself, instead of a manipulated bloated trading vehicle. If you're just in it for the cash and know these stocks are ridiculous, then fine- but you always have to defend these stocks by saying "growth is great, these are the future IBMs and Microsofts, etc, they really arent that overvalued, etc".. When you say that sort of thing I question your well-being.

Based on YHOO closing price of $127 on 10/02/98

Market Capitalization $13.87 billion
