I'm not too worried about how low it will go -- I'm more interested in the time frame. If the Visual PC is a howling failure, SGI will probably slip another notch. But Wall Street being what it is, the anticipation of a meal is enough to make potential stockholders salivate -- and the release of the new system should initiate at least a brief turnaround. However, I am frankly puzzled at the lack of interest in SGI's planned release of their flat-panel monitor, which sounds like a potential moneymaker -- and also shows SGI's big commitment to "visual computing" within the Windows environment. --JD
