David.. ---ot---
a suggestion for getting out of CPQ.

I attended an investment expo in NYC today, (at the courtesy of the CBOE)... while I was there I sat in on a couple of seminars on options. The bottom line... there is a strategy used in options called 'stock repair'. The idea is to get you out of a stock with a minimum of break even. If you call your broker or the CBOE '1-800-options' they should be able to explain this options technique to you. I hate to see you caught in a stock you want out of...

Hope this helps....

regards
Laura

btw ... I roared at your post on 'premature investment valuation'.. great analogy!!!
