After reading something the Chief posted over on the MINE thread (https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=5904059) I had some concerns about our desire to put someone on the MDIN board. The reason we want to have "our own" board member goes to what looks like MDIN's failure to disseminate information in a timely and accurate manner. So, I am wondering, if we have our own board member who passes along information and we trade on those insights, would that not, in fact, be trading on insider information?

And there is a second legal point. If we elect "our own" board member, and thing go wrong at MDIN, something that brings about litigation, wouldn't the person we elected then be a co-defendant in that litigation. It almost seems to me that anyone who was on the board would be named in any lawsuit brought against the company for any reason whether legitimate or frivolous.

I just bring this up because I do not wish to see one of us get dragged down in some debacle. Are there any lawyers among us who could address these points?
