Base Station royalties are believed by analysts to be 4% of Gross Sales. Revenues usually not realized by licensees until 60 - 90 days after network turn ons, and QCOM will not realize their 4% until 90 days after their licensee recieves payment. Based on this fomula, a steady stream of significant royalties should begin coming in during QCOM's 3Q97. (Based on Primeco's 1 Billion Dollar Network being activated mid-November, and Sprints 10 Billion dollar network being gradually turned on over the next 6 months)

I do not have a royalty estimate on the Handsets. (of course, currently QCOM is making most of them.
