I am not quite sure how fair it is to judge JPR Capital based off of the size and number of employees of one of its branch offices, which is independently owned and operated. There are a few Terra Nova branch offices which only have 3 or 4 employees, but I don't view them any less reliable than the larger ones. I think that the stability of the broker/dealer is what really needs to be evaluated.

I can say one thing in their defense. A friend of mine held a position overnight, sold it the next morning, and then purchased it again the same day for an intraday day trade. Apparantly, if you hold a position overnight, sell it the next day and buy it back the same day, Southwest Securities issues a margin call (one of those quirky rules)....So he had a margin call for $22,000.00, which they covered for him. To me that is pretty good customer service... I have never traded with MB Trading, but I wonder if they would do the same thing for their clients?

But like I have said previously, I do think that they are begging for trouble by allowing their traders to short sell any stock...even if its not on the short list....
