Also, I'm Looking for some verification from the tech folks about one possible ÒSURE THINGÓ, if there is such a thing following the recent court decision (which made ZERO sense to me). I read an extensive newspaper article today about how HD TV will start rolling out this November in Key Cities. (My town, Cleveland is scheduled for the second wave of HD TV introduction.)
QUESTION: Will the first wave of HD sets actually involve designs and patents as originally invented by AXC If the answer is, ÒYesÓ, it will go a long way towards giving me more confidence about the future earnings of AXC, while they continue to move forward into newer areas, via acquisitions, which is as of new still uncharted territory. If the answer is, ÒYESÓ, could someone point out for how many years longer these patents would be in effect before expiring?
Or are things so secretive, that we can count on a number of future court cases in which bigger companies will be able to rob AXC, via more double talk and intellectual, incomprehensible arguments, to judges who will continue to overturn juries who might side with the company.
Thanks. Al |
