I think the conspiracy was very real. Links and quotes I've given document it. Nobody made Clinton a womanizer. He brought that to the table. The Goldberg/Tripp/Jones lawyers/Porter conspiracy took it from there. Starr may not have really been involved until just before the Jones deposition on Lewinsky. His primary sins are those of utterly unbalanced zealotry on this matter. And illegal press leaks, to build a momentum against the President. Goldberg and Tripp, in consultation with the Jones lawyers and Porter (Starr's law partner and close friend) had been working for months to create the appearance of obstruction. By egging Lewinsky to demand better and better jobs. And pushing her to seek to use Vernon Jordan as a middleman to the President. Then they turn around and paint a picture of the President fervidly trying to bribe Lewinsky through Jordan. Read the NY Times article. Doug
