Miles post reads like 500 hundred others posted by the KRT
hopefuls. Weather is a big factor when it comes to costs.
Obviously you don't need much support when you are drilling
in June, July and August in the Fort a'la Corne bush that is
maximum twenty miles from an open grid or highway. However,
as soon as snow hits you need to clear it out, when the
temperature drops it becomes much more expensive to run
machinery. Why would you drill in the winter when you can
drill in the summer? Swamp drilling is one exception which
does not apply here. The partners won't authorize winter
drilling when it can be accomplished in the easy months.
