Hi Bill;
Since my recent posting re CopperHill Corporation's(CUHL-CDN) diamond
exploration program in Northern Labrador, a number of interesting news
releases from both Freeport Resources Inc. andCantex/DiaMet/Quadrant,
suggest that the Western Greenland Diamond Play is about to turn up the
heat.
Freeport has announced the discovery of a 6 km.long garnet-rich beach,
as well as a suite of diamond indicator minerals on its Hutton Project
in Northern Labrador/Quebec.Minerals included kimberlitic chrome
diopsides, oclogitic garnets, high value chromites, magnesium rich olivine
and ruby.
Freeport has now acquired an additional 215 claims to hold 1562 claims
in that area of Northern Quebec/Labrador.

Cantex/Diamet/Quadrant reported on Oct.1/98 that heavy mineral
processing of 15 till samples collected in 1997 from its West Greenland
property has yielded outstanding diamond indicator minerals. An
additional 34 samples yielded intermediate quality diamond indicator
minerals. The best indicator minerals included G10 garnets, groupI
eclogitic garnets as well as D.I. chromites, and chrome diopsides.

Given the geological similarity of properties in Northern
Labrador/Quebec and Western Greenland, we may yet be looking at one
large area play. If this proves to be the case, companies such as
CopperHill Corp., Freeport et al. will attract a lot of investor
