We have the beginning of a market meltdown today in Japan.

There really is no "technical" support for the Japanese index until it reaches 10,000. This would represent another 25% reduction and would put the market where it was over 14 years ago. 14 years of buy and hold with zero return. A similar fate for the US DOW index would result in a valuation of about 3500. Ouch. Makes a prediction of Dow 3500 seem like it may actually happen.
