Robert Grutza:

<<While most of the competition for Intel's business is focused on the low end of the chip market, AMD, Sunnyvale, Calif., is aiming to attack the high end of Intel's product line with the K7, Slater said.>>

1) K6-2 from now till next year is AMD CASH COW.
2) K6-3 (practically a CASH COW) will extend the life of K6-2 and to fend Katmai.
3) K7 will be AMD new market with high margin. For every K7 CPU AMD sells they make money on 2 chipsets that go in the MB. K7 will take market share from Intel Xeon.

AMD is guaranteed a bright future. Stay tune for Oct. 15.
