Aleta, I appreciate and respect the position you outlined. And it's true. Jon, the less you'd be in your position, the less compelled I would be in my own.
Metaphor? Reality doesn't need one, does it? Hey, look. There's been a lot of positive stuff we've been clinging to for months, nearly a year in fact. And there's been dribbles of dribbles of negative stuff all throughout. Indeed, we've been getting a daily dose of each and no doubt we're all sick of the ping-pong (call it Patty-Cake, whatever). Some have succombed to the outright despair of the share price, etc., and have bailed.
Although I am numbed by much of what I learn, I simply am not giving up on a good idea in the right place in time, and one that has some potential substance behind it (i.e., echoMEDIA, SIM and eCommerce Corp--I'll even throw in Laptops). I call it potential, because, right now, it's simply not well defined as a formal entity. Will that definition come? I hope so. In the meanwhile, every time JT says it won't, I'll gonna say it might.
To me, it's not a case of getting in or getting out. It's a matter of more patience. Jon, when I simply ask that you low key your position, I'm just mirroring the point of reality that things are already bad enough, so why would you need or wish to make 'em worse? I'm not trampling over your speech. I'm sure if you were talking instead of writing, you'd be saying much less, wouldn't you?
I mean who are you trying to impress? You can't impress us--you already have! Do you simply want someone new who peeks into the thread to become the one who is impressed with your brilliance? Where's the mileage there? I've always thought of you as something more than a taunt, why don't you not become one?
Indeed, you always said you liked a mystery--why not sit back a bit and see what happens? The more you can do that, the more I can do that. The more we do that, the happier everybody will be as we travese what presently seems to be a miserable situation, but not yet a hopeless situation. |
