Yes 10c / minute is very cheap indeed. There have been some good offers here in Europe too, such as charge free weekends, but I don't see a flat 10c rate possible for the time being. Do you have to pay for incoming calls? Tremendous economies of scale inherent with the US market may help making this price level possible (one country, one language, one currency).

I hope our new Euro currency will go forward regardless of the timid.

BTW if somebody remembers previous jokes about Europeans being pinko sissies, this has become reality. Germany turned SPD a week ago and pretty much the whole continent is now socialist. Workers of the world, unite!
