Dave,

According to BT Alex Brown, Harbinger is in the process of
restructuring their product line by reducing it. They have
over 60 products and want to cut it down to about thirty.
They are also reducing staff by about 100 and have said that
Y2K has slowed customer desire for their products at this time.
Sounds like this company will be stuck here in this trading area
until mid 1999. It's amazing how in BT Alex Brown's July report
on harbinger they had a forty dollar 12-18 month target on the
stock. Just shows you their lack of understanding of the industry
and company. At this point it seems selling may not be the
best thing, since it is so beaten down at this point you would
think chances for it to go back to 8-10 in 12 months are good.

Just my thoughts, SK
