Hi Colin & Everyone, Needless to say, Mr. Murphy's note regarding the new deal through Bettencourt Division got a rise out of me. I have spoken with Paul Bettencourt and he related to me that the announcement will be released during Mid-January time frame as soon as they have more concise figures. It was related to me that the Gross sales in this one venture will be between 1.2-1.8 Million dollars, 80% gross margin with a substantial portion to pre-tax. This venture was UNBUDGETED. (Nice New Year Present). Mr. Bettencourt did tell me that the company involved is a very recognizable name in the food industry and that this particular company did, in fact, seek out Bettencourt's services because of past reputation. I believe we can start to see how important the Bettencourt acquisition is and hopefully we will see a string of these ventures in 1997. On the Muller Media front---I spoke again with Bob Muller. They have released an announcement of their new feature film package to syndication. This package is the third in a series called "PRIME TARGETS 3" consisting of (15) titles (cash+). They include "SIDEKICKS" starring Chuck Norris, "ASSAULT AT WEST POINT" starring Samuel L. Jackson, "LOVE, CHEAT AND STEAL" starring John Lithgow, and "UNDERTOW" starring Lou Diamond Phillips. Bob stated--"As we have done with three previous packages, the new titles in "PRIME TARGETS 3" will be available to broadcast television before the basic cable window. We will begin marketing this package now and through NATPE '97 and will look forward to the same success we have had with Prime Targets 1 & 2." Now here's something to sink your teeth into. NOT INCLUDING THIS PACKAGE--MULLER MEDIA WILL DO ABOUT 2.5 MILLION IN SALES FROM PAST PACKAGES FROM CONTRACTS ALREADY SIGNED. I would conclude that DCI's bottom line is starting to move in the direction we have been waiting for. Will try to update over the weekend as I do have alot more information that I feel should prove very pertinent to the total picture. "Grupo Brad"
