This method of bill presentment may be short-lived, though. "By sending the bill to Checkfree, we lose the ability to interact with our customers on a monthly basis," said Klaus P. Werner, marketing manager for BellSouth.

Re-written by an idiot...guess who?

This method of bill presentment may be short-lived, though. "By sending the bill to the US POST OFFICE, we lose the ability to interact with our customers on a monthly basis," said Klaus P. Werner, marketing manager for BellSouth.

IMO...and I'm guessing...this guy has never even seen e-bill in action. Because that is not my experience, based on being a user.

Checkfree is in the Bill delivery business, just like the Post Office, except CheckFrees e-bills(sm) provide multiple links back to the bill distributors site. What BellSouth gonna do as a replacement distribution method? Distribute bills to every Bank in the U.S., plus all the E-mail addresses? Like I said, don't think the guy knows what his company has it's hands on...
