DALLAS, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- BancTec, Inc. (NYSE: BTC - news) today announced that it has signed a new contract with Dell Computer Corporation (Nasdaq: DELL - news), the world's leading direct computer systems company, to be the primary provider of on-site warranty repair and maintenance services for Dell's home and small business customers in the United States. The new agreement covers Dell's desktop and notebook computers sold to this market segment and extends the two companies' previous service alliance through September 2001.
