Dwight, I'm sure you didn't mean for this to sound as ill-tempered and hypocritical as it sounds: surely if you participate in a discussion in which you invoke moral views and judgements, it is appropriate for you to be asked to explain how they are framed and whether you manage to live up to them yourself.

As for the medical files, I would suggest that Americans not insist on seeing Clinton's. If he is forced to show them, every President and Presidential candidate from now on will have to release all of them. This will not benefit you: someday there will be a candidate whom you personally support who will have a medical fact that can be blown out of proportion and damage their prospects. Don't piss in your own drinking water. My records are confidential; your records are confidential; presidents and presidential candidates should keep their records confidential. No one is above the law; no one is below it.
