Dan, like yourself, I am not a Libertarian either, except on the civil liberties side. But it is my impression that quite a few professed Libertarians post to this thread, and that their positions are pretty stongly anti-Clinton. And in view of the fact that, despite the prevailing view, the Clinton Administration has stepped up the Drug War (e.g.,more people arrested under Clinton for "marijuana crimes" than under either President Bush or President Reagan), I would have expected them, as I wrote earlier, to "step up to the plate" on this one, too.
After all, I was only discussing decriminalization of marijuanause. The Libertarians advocate legalization of all presently illegal drugs. See, for example, 1996 Libertarian platform:
