Roger - Every time I look at this thread, which admittedly is rarely, I am struck by one thing in particular. Your short picks for 1998 do not appear to have done very well, on average. I notice that out of six short picks, four have gone up spectacularly over the course of the year, even following the July downturn. I'm sure people have brought this up before, and my purpose is not to razz you. I'm just curious as to whether you sustained heavy losses on your initial shorts this year, and whether you have been able to recover from those losses. Sorry if this is question is redundant. - Allen
